Every use of AI is disappointing

I asked ChatGPT to:

replace the numbers on the number plate of this car with the word "career"

After a minute of "thinking" ChatGPT produced this

If you'd asked a graphics person to do the same job would you be satisfied with the result?

• It looks like it is pasted on.
• The number plate is too white
• The bolts on the plate have disappeared
• UK number plates use the Mandatory typeface which is extremely different from the one used here.

After nearly four years of what is supposed to have been exponential improvement this is still Dancing Bear software. Like a bear it can be made to dance but not very well.

Every time I use AI (voluntarily or not) I'm disappointed with the results and I think most of the world agrees with me.
